The TBL

The Local Central Trowbridge Basketball League was founded in August 2014 and was put together to bridge the gap between competitive and friendly senior play. It was also a great way for young players between 16-20 years to gain more playing time. The league officially re-branded as the TBL in 2017 with 10 team's registered in the 2017/18 season. The League featured it's own playoffs and All-star event each year.

The 'Original Hawks' dominated the early seasons winning the championship in 14/15, 15/16 and 17/18. Led by Hawks players such as Steve Wallis, Matt Analts, Mark Jones and Nathan Bold.

The 'Tigers' were also dominant starting off as a polish team with the addition of then young recruits and now senior players  Gioven Posa and Joel Rooprai. The team was led by Hawks player Steve Conteh alongside the league's organizer Mike Yakosz. They won in 16/17, 18/19 and 19/20.

The TBL ended in 2021 heavily impacted by Covid-19 but also with the Club's desire to re-enter Webba for more Competitive play.
