Youth Hawks
We provide Training programmes for all ages with weekly training up to 4 hours a week. We have team's at U10s to U18s with opportunities to play in League play.
We operate via a monthly membership which starts from £20 a month which includes training, member benefits and access to Club events.
The process to sign-up is easier than ever, simply click on the team that applies and complete the registration forms and payment. You are membership is then active and valid until cancelled.

Our training sessions run throughout the year excluding Easter, Christmas half-term and Summer holidays for our Club Junior members. U18s, U16s and U14s training continues throughout the summer for league preperation.

Trials are not required for U10 and U12s group.
Please check that we have space within your group. If we are fully booked we can add you to our waiting list or your welcome to attend our Sunday sessions.
New Players
Is your child nervous to join a team or perhaps not confident yet to play games. We have Sunday Open sessions which are great for new players and also those that want more training to build their confidence. Please download the 'SPOND' app and join us using code 'TCKYZ'

Development opportunities
Our Junior programme gives our players the opportunity to play in League competition which can also lead to progression into our adult sessions(Over 16yrs) and WEBBA team’s.
We hope to continue our development of young players and provide them with opportunities to continue their basketball journey within our Club. Our Junior members are the future of our Club!
Part of our Junior development is providing opportunities to play games. We do this by having our teams compete in league competition and tournaments.

We also have our Sunday morning development hub sessions for new players to Basketball and members wanting additional training. These sessions are pay as you play and require no sign-up.
WHAT WE OFFER
Highly qualified and trained coaches
Junior programme is led and delivered by Wiltshire Basketball Academy! All our coaches are fully qualified, first aid trained, DBS checked, and safeguard trained. Our coaches are some the best coaches in the south west region. We also have supported team mangers for each group ready to assist you! Fundamental Training in a game Based enviroment
Our Junior players do not just play they train to learn and develop the fundamentals of basketball. We use small sided games with a game based CLA approach which utilizes 1v1, 2v1, 2v2, 2v2 game play. We hold our athletes accountable to a high standard and expectation which allows us to compete and develop our players to reach their potential.
Why your child should try basketball
Basketball is a sport that teaches discipline and the importance of working as a team. Our junior members are expected to show respect and the willingness to learn. Many parents have noticed a change in attitude and focus to schoolwork!
Let’s not forget it’s also great exercise, fun and a great way to create new friendships!
